By day, I am a harried, Diet Mountain Dew-jazzed manager at an international software company, but in the wee hours of the morning, I write young adult novels.
Some people think that 3 AM is the middle of the night, but that's when I'm creative. The cat is awake, and the house is quiet. Stories flow.
I've been writing since elementary school. I try to write every day, and I usually make it. By now it's just something I have to do, like showering before heading off to work.
All of my books deal with some kind of social issue, such as anorexia, teen pregnancy, drinking, academic pressure, or suicide. There's a whole lot of plot because I love a good story and a little bit of romance because who doesn't like that?
My husband and I live in Huntsville, Alabama. In addition to one very large Maine Coon Cat, we have goats and two giant dogs.
A few things I love (Besides Writing):
Binge-watching TV series on Netflix
Cats (and dogs)
Vampires and zombies
Star Trek (original)
